Melissa May, JD
Melissa is a wealth strategist and former private practice attorney with more than 20 years’ experience in estate planning. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Melissa works closely with our financial planning and family office teams to assist clients and their families in understanding their estate plans and exploring opportunities to minimize estate tax and other wealth transfer taxes. She is a trustee of the Albertina Kerr Centers Foundation and a member of the executive committee of the Oregon State Bar’s estate planning and administration section. Outside of work, Melissa often can be found spending time with family and friends, sailing the Columbia River, and/or attempting a handicraft (but rarely all three at once).
